The YMCA Judson Community Center is breaking down walls, literally + figuratively.
The price tag on this project was ~$500,000 with hopes to support Judson neighborhood families with children. In the almost 24 years the building has stood, this renovation is its first.
The updates include the removal of a wall that opened up an extra 900 sqft that was allocated for programming space + about 530 sqft for an outdoor patio space. The kids will also enjoy eating outside as plans are set for an updated outdoor picnic area. Other renovations included fresh coats of paint as well as new floors and renovated restrooms.
The Giving Heart pillow — a cream, knitted, heart-shaped pillow that’s weighted to replicate the feeling of a real hug. It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for loved ones who deserve some extra coziness and care.
While I’m not a huge football fan, I’m always looking forward to hanging out with friends + family and snacking on good bites with plenty of naps in between.
