  • City Council revised its noise ordinance after receiving ongoing complaints. The new ordinance states that if noise “substantially interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of persons of ordinary sensibilities,” a violation has occurred. This change will give police additional tools to aid in a quieter downtown experience.
Concert
  • The Greenville Country Music Festival will be releasing its full schedule including dates + times for each performance on Monday, Sept. 18. Pro tip: get your tickets before Friday, Sept. 22 and take advantage of the summer sale.
Biz
  • A 15-acre, small-scale industrial park with modular tenant spaces is planned near Inland Port Greer at 311 Genoble Rd. The developers, Atlas Capital Group and Warhaft Group, chose the land because of its access to I-85, the port, and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. (Upstate Business Journal)
