Shake the grass out of your favorite picnic blanket + grab the fam — Moonlight Movies return to Falls Park on Thursday, Sept. 4.
When and where
Movies will be shown Thursdays in September and October at dusk near the Falls Park stage. Come early to grab your favorite spot on the lawn.
Food + drink
Local vendors will be on site serving food, and you can bring your own alcohol. Make sure you have an ID and that you purchase a $1 wristbands.
What to bring (and leave)
You can also pack food and drinks from home. Be sure to bring chairs or blankets. Pro tip: The ground can be wet, so we recommend layering a tarp beneath a blanket.
Leave all pets, glass bottles + cups, and means of smoking at home.

Construction on the new College Street “cultural corridor” is expected to start by the end of the year. The project will turn three blocks into a walkable strip connecting museums and art instututions on Hertiage Green with Main Street. The City’s request for proposals closes Thursday, Aug. 31. The Planning Commission has approved plans for “Phase II,” for The McDaniel, located at 213 E. Broad St. The McDaniel plans to add 10 additional townhomes to the development.
Number
$120,000. That’s the amount of money raised from the Spinx annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament. Proceeds will be split between American Red Cross, Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Loaves and Fishes, and Safe Harbor.
Fun Fact
