Steps away from what feels like everything is Riverside, a modern apartment community conveniently located — you guessed it — riverside.

Positioned along the Reedy River and Swamp Rabbit Trail (yes, there’s trail access + bike storage) and inspired by the spirit of our city, Riverside combines artistry and adventure in downtown Greenville.

In addition to offering bright and spacious studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, Riverside has countless high-end amenities, including:
  • WorkFlow, a dedicated coworking space featuring study pods and conference rooms
  • A resort-style pool, complete with a fire pit
  • A pickleball court, putting green, bocce ball court, and disc golf course
  • Free local drip coffee + cold brew on tap
  • A fitness center with a private yoga studio and Echelon bikes
  • An expansive dog park with a pet spa for those muddy paws
  • And more.

Today Is

The First Day of School

GVLtoday Stephanie and Danielle

Are we the cutest City Editors or what? | Photos by the Ibbotson + Barilla families.

Some of you are groaning loudly enough that we can hear you through the screen. Some of you are shouting with joy. School is back in session.

You know we love a Pro Tip, and our friends at Kidding Around Greenville put together a list of back-to-school hacks to help you start the year on the right foot:
  • Pick out the clothes for school for the entire week
  • Keep all school-related things in one place
  • Don’t schedule any appointments during the first week of school
We wanted to add our own advice:
  • City Editor Stephanie’s tip: Know that it’s totally okay not to get everything at first. (It’s my 5th week with GVLtoday and I still have to remind myself of this.)
  • City Editor Danielle’s tip: Be kind to one another. You never know how your words will make someone’s day brighter.

We never really did “back-to-school” photos when I was young, but I sincerely hope you enjoy the photo my mom took of me one night when she innocently walked downstairs and saw me doing an interpretive dance in the dining room.
