Here’s what’s open on Christmas Eve + Christmas Day in Greenville, SC

Whether you’re wanting to show off your city to out-of-town guests or don’t feel like dirtying up the kitchen on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, many of Greenville’s restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops have you covered.
Here is a list of 27 local spots that will be open on Saturday, Dec. 24 or Sunday, Dec. 25. Most of these spots will either seat on a first-come, first-served basis or recommend reservations — so plan accordingly.
Downtown
Paloma, 315 S. Main St. | Saturday, 12-6 p.m. + Sunday, 4-9 p.m. | Swing into the holiday weekend on a swing with a cocktail in hand.
Group Therapy Pub and Playground, 320 Falls St., Ste. G | Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. | Stir up some friendly competition with a game of mini golf or curling.
UP on the Roof, 250 River Place, #800 | Saturday + Sunday, 11 a.m.-last call | Get your out-of-town guests in the festive spirit among UP’s Elf’d UP pop-up bar decor.

Greenville Christmas Eve Run | Saturday, Dec. 24 | 6:30 a.m. | Mellow Mushroom, 1 Augusta St., Greenville | Free | Run a ~3 mile route through downtown Greenville + enjoy breakfast after at Eggs Up Grill — bring a box or two of instant grits to donate to HOPE Missions homeless shelter.

Table to Table Food Tours, a new walking food tour business, is now open in downtown Greenville. Patrons can choose from seven year-round tours(think: Happy Hour Tour), each of which visit three restaurants and include stories and history facts about Greenville. Book a tour. 🍔

The Creperia is opening in Greer(in Hudson Corners at 2434 Hudson Rd.)next spring. The restaurant will serve a variety of crepes + coffee drinks. Follow @thecreperiaofficial on Instagram for updates. ☕

The City of Greenville city offices will be closedFriday, Dec. 23andMonday, Dec. 26. Monday trash pickup will resume Tuesday, Dec. 27 and run one day later than scheduled the rest of the week.
Legacy
Two Chefs Café & Market co-owner Judy Balsizer has died after battling congenital heart disease. Judy and her husband, Bill opened Two Chefs Deli downtown in 1996 before relocating to its North Main location(644 N. Main St., Ste. 107) and opening its Eastside location(8590 Pelham Rd.). (WYFF 4)

Out of 25 submissions, four claimed victory in the City of Greenville Events & Cultural Arts Poinsettia Postcards exhibition.
The awards, announced Tuesday, Dec. 20, were given in two categories: Judges’ and People’s Choice. The judging panel chose its winners based on design, theme, creativity, and use of 3D materials.
🥇 First Place: “The Nutcracker” by International Ballet
🥈 Second Place: “Happy Holidays from Greenville County Schools” by Greenville County Schools
🥉 Third Place: “Happy Holidays” by Aldo Muzzarelli on behalf of Artisphere Festival
