A taste of the Queen City is coming to Greenville. Savor Charlotte is bringing eight celebrated Charlotte chefs and mixologists into GVL for a one-night only, exclusive culinary event on Thurs., Nov. 10.
Taking place at four different restaurants across Greenville, the event will feature custom menus curated by each Charlotte-based chef and mixologist — giving guests a chance to savor many flavors of Charlotte’s extensive foodie scene. Space is limited and reservations must be made directly with each restaurant of your choice to secure your seat at this takeover-style, city-wide event.

A longtime mixologist in the Charlotte bar scene, Russ Johnson is known for crafting creative cocktails and for his appearances in local publications and TV programs showcasing his skills.
Chef Shai Fargian has experience working with celebrity chefs and renowned restaurateurs. He is using his culinary skills to bring Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern flavors to Charlotte at three Yafo Kitchen locations.
A craft cocktail connoisseur, Colleen was crowned 2021 Mixologist of the Year in NCRLA’s Chef Showdown, and Supperland landed a spot on Bon Appetit’s Top 10 Best New Restaurants of 2022 (nationwide).
Advance reservations are strongly recommended since space is limited at the Savor Charlotte Sampler. |

Peep the peak leafs 🍂
Not to be a sad sap, but we’re approaching the end of leaf-peeping season. But don’t worry about fall y’all. There are still plenty of places to peep peak fall foliage in mid-to-late October.
Editor’s pick: That field day with Upstate Pride SC looks pretty fun and I have a tug-of-war tip for you: Put your most confident member at the front. My team always won tug-of-war because — even though I was well-mannered in the classroom — I’d holler, mean-mug, and shock the other team into losing. What can I say? I was a competitive fifth-grader.
