10 SC Restaurant Week specials to try

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — SC Restaurant Week, kicking off Thurs. Jan. 13 and running through Sun., Jan. 23.

With 36+ options across Greenville and the Upstate, you could plan a meal out every day of the week. Don’t worry, there are a few takeout options if you’re feeling dinner at home.

Here are 10 specials that have us drooling:

LaRue Fine Chocolate, Poe West, 556 Perry Ave., Ste. B115 | Whiskey or Wine + Chocolate for $20 | Three whiskeys or three wines plus truffles — need we say more?

Is it frowned upon to eat these all day, every day? | Photo by @laruefinechocolate

Oak Hill Cafe, 2510 Poinsett Hwy. | 6 dinner courses for $65 | Slurp up the vegetarian burrata with orange + crostini before you feast on the Coconut Thai Short Rib.

Persis Biryani Indian Grill, 1451 Woodruff Rd., Ste. D | 3 dinner courses for $45 per couple | You can get this special to-go if you prefer to enjoy a samosa from your sofa.

Maestro Bistro & Dinner Club, 104 N. Main St. | 3 dinner courses for $42 | Have your cake 8oz Teres Major Tenderloin Oscar-Style and eat it, too.

Jianna, 600 S. Main St., Ste. 200 | 3 courses for $35 | Two words: Ricotta. Crostini.

The Palmetto Trail wants to know: can you go on 22 hikes in 11 months?

All you have to do is walk or bike two hikes each month on the Palmetto Trail, like Blue Ridge Electric Co-Op Passage at Jocassee Gorges or the Hub City Connector in Spartanburg.

It could be a one-mile hike or a ten-mile trek — you choose. At the end of each month, you’ll log the path + distance, and at the end of the year you’ll receive a 22 Hike Challenge patch + certificate.
