Danielle here. One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day is the pop-up markets and events to help you shop local for your Valentine. I’ll be starting my Saturday at Modal’s market (they had me at Daylight Burritos) before popping over to the Maker’s Collective.

Oak and Fire — a new concept from the former Oak Hill Cafe owners — is opening soonon Poinsett Highway. While the restaurant has yet to announce its regular hours, it celebrated its soft opening last weekend and served wood fire oven pizzas and housemade sodas. Follow its Instagram for updates.
