The Digital Content Strategist is responsible for building and maintaining a library of content intended to drive traffic, engagement and leads that results in customer conversion and retention. The Digital Content Strategist will work closely with Digital Strategy team members to coordinate the delivery of content across the various channels upon which Resurgent engages its customers. The Digital Content Strategist will identify and utilize reporting and analytics solutions to measure the results of content marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain an ongoing library of compliant and effective content and creative to support initiatives to drive web traffic, increase customer engagement and promote customer education which will be deployed across Email, SMS/text, landing pages, social media and partner network advertising channels.
Implements fundamentals of digital marketing analytics and how these principles inform content and creative: Examples include UTM parameter creation and management, referral marketing, digital media attribution, ad relevance.
Take ownership of a content calendar and execute all aspects of such content for publication, working backwards from launch date to ensure a consistent stream of content on all platforms and channels.
Develop an understanding of the main social media channels best practices, which content and approaches work well on each and why, then implements social media strategy to optimize engagement across all platforms
Work closely with the legal and compliance team, ensuring there are efficient process for acquiring feedback and refinement of new content
Work directly with third party digital partners to evaluate and facilitate approval any proposed content
Participates in internal Digital Street Team and project coordination
Job Qualifications/Skills:
Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Basic understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
1+ year Experience with Google Analytics & Ads
Passion for both marketing and analytics
Strong ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
Highly motivated and independent
Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas and opinions professionally in written and verbal communication
Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Exceptional organizational skills, able to multitask and appropriately prioritize workload in a fast paced, resource constrained environment
Quarterly travel for training and remote office visits
Experience with responsive design email frameworks preferred (MJML), not required
Familiarity with principles of version control, source control and the Agile software Development lifecycle (Git, Azure DevOps)
Educational Requirements:
Some form of data analytics or digital marketing certification preferred, not required
Experience in Accounts Receivable or financial services preferred, not required
Portfolio of content that balances empathy with the customer and compelling CTAs
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Englishwriting, marketing or graphic design preferred, experience may substitute
