Greenville Federal Credit Union awarding $50,000 to local nonprofits

Greenville Federal Credit Union is continuing to give back to the community with its Thanks and Giving Grant program, which launched in 2018. This fall, the credit union will award 5 grants of $10,000 (a total of $50,000) to local non-profit organizations committed to developing + implementing programs designed to improve prosperity in local communities within Greenville County.

Here’s how the grant program will work:

  • Nonprofit applications are open now until September 17.
  • In order to be eligible, organizations must hold a current tax-exempt status as a charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, be physically located in Greenville County + directly benefit the local community.
  • Grant recipients will be announced on November 18.

The Thanks and Giving Grant program is designed to identify and provide funding support for community-based organizations that promote youth, education, community, and economic assistance or relief in local areas across Greenville County.
