On August 21 at exactly 2:38 p.m. you’ll have your chance to witness the moon completely cover the sun, blocking the sun’s rays for 2 minutes and 40 seconds (only the solar atmosphere around it will be visible).

A Total Solar Eclipse in the Upstate won’t happen again until 2078, people. Here’s where to enjoy it. Strap on your *Solar Eclipse glasses as we take a tour of Greenville’s best viewing parties.
