This weekend, 46 food vendors (with over 250 items on their menus), 75 musicians, and over 25 breweries/wine-makers will be taking over downtown Greenville for arguably *the* most highly anticipated events of the year. Today, we bring you the ultimate guide to BB&T Fall for Greenville so that you can tell all of your out-of-town friends how much more awesome your weekend was than theirs. (Sorry, not sorry).
First, some logistics
PlanAhead: Who’s playing, who’s got the eats, and where can I find them?
Get acquainted with all of the musicians on your morning commute via the #FFGVL Spotify playlist, which features artists like Whiskey Myers, Will Hoge (who both have millions of Spotify listens), Charleston-based Stop Light Observations, and even local star Kylie Odetta. You can find the full music lineup and calendar here.
Then, check off your weekend #MustDos by exploring the Fall For Greenville interactive map here. Simply click on any of the numbered squares, or defined areas to see what vendor will be there, what they’ll be serving, + how many tickets you’ll need.

Parking: Parking is a drag, but luckily the City is providing a couple of options to make it a breeze.

  1. Free shuttle service for those who park at County Square (drop off is at South Main St.)
  2. Free parking in the Broad Street Garage from 5 p.m. on Friday – Sunday
  3. Greenlink Trolley: Our trolley system runs all over downtown from North Main to the Village of West Greenville, so download the app, check the routes, and enjoy a free ride to and from downtown.
  4. Bike Valet service (sponsored by Bikeville): You can bike downtown, drop your bike off under the Main Street bridge (by Falls Park), and they’ll hold onto it for you until you’re ready to go home. (Available Sat. + Sun.)

Tickets: How many should I buy?

Go ahead and pre-purchase your tickets (the official currency of the festival). If you pre-purchase $50 worth (10 sheets = 80 tickets), you get 1 sheet free. If you’re taking anyone with you (S.O. or kid), you’ll blow through these as most items are between 3 – 8 tickets (i.e. 1 craft beer = 8 tickets). You can snag them online here, over at Soby’s on the Side or at Dapper Ink.

What can I look forward to this year?

Well first, 54 of the 75 bands planning to shred downtown are brand new to the festival, and they’re kicking off the weekend with a free concert at the Peace Center Stage on the River on Thursday night (Outshyne + Whiskey Meyers for those keeping up on Spotify).

  • Culinary demonstrations - Watch various chefs show off their skills all weekend (like Chef Courtney McKnight with Plate 108, and Chef Daniel Lopez with Time to Taste Catering) + you can catch Mary and Logan carve butter on Friday (if that doesn’t draw you in, we don’t know what will).
  • Kids’ Area Zone: Yup, this is family friendly and the kids will be just as amped to take turns on the merry-go-round + the rock wall tree house slide as you are to get them out of the stroller or off your shoulders (we see you too dads).
  • In addition to the 6 stages of music and 6 blocks of tents full of food, the #FFGVL folks are also featuring a Food Truck Row which will be posted up over on Coffee St. Think favorites like The Chuck Truck, Meat’n the Middle, and One Love Fusion Foods.

🚫 Please do not bring:

  • Your own alcohol. There is the Windstream Wine Garden, and the Carolina Ale House Beer Garden featuring a large variety of wines and 25+ breweries. Souvenir sample cups will be available for purchase for those looking to enjoy smaller portions of the wine and beer offerings.
  • Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers. There will be a lot of people at the festival and not a lot of space to spread out.
  • Roller skates, skateboards, or bicycles. You can totally ride them to the festival to save yourself the hassle of parking though.
  • Pets. This is a busy festival so it’s best to leave cats, dogs, ferrets, pigs, or whatever else you got at home.
