This week is the one-year anniversary of one of our editors adopting their dog, Annie.

To celebrate, we thought we would share some other local, adoptable pups in case you were already thinking about adding a new fur-baby to your family.

Introducing — Salt + Pepper. Maybe you’re looking to add 2 new friends to your family, and these girls would ideally be adopted together. They are both Retrievers and Salt is the more outgoing one, while Pepper is more of a shy gal.

This is Juniper. She’s an Australian Shepherd/Mix and is just over 4 years old. She loves being the center of attention, so she needs a home where she is the only animal.

But there are plenty more where these came from. Greenville County Animal Care and the Greenville Humane Society always have adoptable dogs and cats who need fur-ever homes or sometimes foster homes. Check them out here + here.
